Swarm and Charcon by Aggregate Industries team up to provide Surface Water Drainage solutions to the UK
Swarm Water Management Ltd has been supplying the UK with surface water drainage products for over three years, always looking to provide the best possible solution for client, consultant and merchants. By creating a partnership with Charcon, the hard landscaping division of Aggregate Industries, Swarm and Charcon look to provide the UK with quality, green and competitive solutions for products when it comes to surface water drainage and management.
The Linear Drainage System from Swarm, Swarm Aqua® is an innovative patented product which is fully manufactured in the UK with the simple aims of saving time and money on site and being easy to size and specify. Swarm Aqua® handles all surface water concerns from light rainfall to heavy downpours, can be hidden into paving for a discrete finish, is low maintenance and environmentally friendly with each length containing up to 800 HDPE bottles. These are just a few of the great reasons why a partnership and joint offering by Swarm and Charcon can provide benefits to the surface water management industry in the UK.
The partnership between Swarm and Charcon is offering a broad range of linear drainage products that can minimise the impact of rainwater run-off and flooding in hard landscaped areas. The product ranges can be used in a variety of settings including city and urban areas, car parks and landscaped areas, as well as heavier duty applications such as industrial sites.
Ian Geeson, Technical Manager at Charcon, said: “With high levels of rainfall becoming more frequent in the UK, high capacity drainage is required now more than ever. This is why we are proud to have partnered with Swarm to be able to offer a first-class range of products which can be easily installed to help reduce the issue of flooding across the country, while complementing our wide range of hard landscaping materials.”
David Lingard, Technical Director at Swarm, added: “The partnership with Charcon will allow sites and projects across the country a wider access to solutions for surface water management and drainage. We believe that taking our environmental impact seriously in the same way our partners are dedicated to green and carbon neutral solutions is an important consideration for all projects across the UK and will be easily achievable by the wide range of products available by both companies.
We are looking forward to providing knowledge, experience and of course top quality products to showcase how easy surface water drainage can be managed from design to installation.”
